Established ‘Hachiyo Engineering’ Co., Ltd.
- Developed quick freezing technology for bonito for raw consumption
- Almost 100% of Japanese deep-sea bonito boats use it!
2003
Developed a "Cascade system that combines an Ammonia cycle and a Carbon Dioxide cycle“
- Obtained patents in 6 countries including Japan
- The first practical unit received the Energy Conservation Center Chairman's Award from the Japan Association of Refrigeration Air-Conditioning Contractors (JARAC)!
2004
Developed a "Ceiling coil type ultra-low temperature automatic cold storage" equipped with an Ammonia/R23 cascade system.
- Power consumption is approximately 1/5 compared to conventional ultra-low temperature cold storage
- Received the National Award for Excellent Energy Saving Equipment from the JARAC.
2007
Developed a "Cooling system for large cold storage with improved cooling air circulation"
(Renovation from refrigerant R22 to Ammonia/R23 cascade system)
- Achieved energy saving of 56%!
- Received the National Award for Excellent Energy Saving Equipment from the JARAC.

Established ‘BK Smart Co.,Ltd.’ in Thailand
When Mr. Kaneo visited the factories in Thailand, he was convinced that he could improve the cooling efficiency of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning systems.
Established a Thai corporation to convey Refrigeration system Energy Saving technology to Thailand!
